Newtonian gravity using Minkowski distance

 What's the problem with $$\phi=-\frac{GM}{\sqrt{x^2 + y^2+ z^2 - c^2 t^2}}$$ instead of $$\phi=-\frac{GM}{\sqrt{x^2 + y^2+ z^2}}?$$
